Free Food (Conditions Apply) and Rational Discussion

We have switched our free food event to only apply to individuals bringing a new individual to the event. (Both you and your friend eat free) Feel free to drop in or out whenever it's convenient, this is a casual event to socialize with other folks in effective altruism and learn a bit more about EA. Free food for the first Tuesday! Bottledog offers vegan, vegetarian, and even gluten-free options to serve all palates. We cover up to 15 dollars per person! Come meet new friends and discuss interesting topics with a fun group of folks! Why are we switching away from free food across the board: Based on our metrics, the free food event did not significantly impact the number of individuals attending the event or bring in new individuals to the group which was the goal of the event. Given that - we have opted for a free-food event given the condition that someone brings a friend.
